Information

Please read the Terms of Service below before you commission me. Prices are listed in USD.

Prices listed are for Personal Use. Commercial Use will be a +50% charge of the total commission price.

Prices may change depending on level of detail required. More detailed character designs will be charged extra.

Do’s/Don’t’s:

2D Art Commissions

These commissions are 2D digital illustrations. The final product will be sent digitally over Email or Discord based on preference.

If you have a specific resolution or aspect ratio that you need for your commissioned artwork, please inform me! Otherwise, I may determine the resolution and size of the image based on level of detail required. They will be around 3000 x 3000 pixels or more. I usually draw at 3200 x 2400 pixels.

Full Illustration

Fully illustrated character(s) with line art and coloring.

Options: Soft Shading or Cel-shaded (same price)

Prices:

• Full body: $60
• Half body: $45
• Portrait: $30

Add-ons:

• No color, Black and White only: 40% discount

Note:

• If choosing black and white option, I like to color black colors as solid black (sometimes with white outlines) depending on the character design, like in ink-style manga works. If you do not want me to do this and to instead use a dark gray, please inform me.
• Every added Extra Character is 50% the cost of one character. (Ex. If one character would cost $20, adding another character would cost $10. Adding a third character would also cost $10. For three characters, that would make $40 in total.)

Expected turn-around time: 1-2 weeks

Sketch

Sketched character(s). Does not have dedicated line art, but it is made with a cleaned sketch.

Prices:

• Full body: $20
• Half body: $15
• Portrait: $10

Add-ons:

• Black and White ($2)
• Flat Colors ($5)
• Cel-shading ($2)
• Soft Shading ($2)

Note:

• If choosing black and white option, I like to color black colors as solid black (sometimes with white outlines) depending on the character design, like in ink-style manga works. If you do not want me to do this and to instead use a dark gray, please inform me.
• Please only pick Black and White or Flat Colors. I cannot do both at the same time.
• In the same vein, please only pick Cel-shading or Soft Shading. I cannot do both at the same time.
• Every added Extra Character is 50% the cost of one character. (Ex. If one character would cost $20, adding another character would cost $10. Adding a third character would also cost $10. For three characters, that would make $40 in total.)

Chibi

Standalone full-body chibi illustration. Simple cel-shaded.

Prices:

• Sketch – $10
• Sketch (Colored) – $12
• Rendered (w/ line art) – $20

Expected turn-around time: 1-2 weeks

Backgrounds (Add-on to All Above)

I can add a simple pattern or gradient background to the drawing for free.

I can draw a slightly more complex pattern or environment background for $5.

Environment art is out of my current skill level, so I cannot do detailed environments for backgrounds.

Uncomfortable Ink Drawings

Digital sketches based on splotchy ink art with harsh shadows. These can only be done in black and white with limited colors. Character design details may be unclear or obscured by harsh shadows.

You can order these as portrait, full body, etc. and the price will remain the same. Simple backgrounds can be done for no added price.

Prices:

• $10 (flat price)
• +$5 (per added character)

Note:

• The process of these drawings is very different from my usual drawings. Sketches will likely not be made. Due to this, there will be no revisions for sketches, but you can still request revisions on the final render.
• If you have a pose and lighting reference, I can follow those.
• These are very easy to draw, so turnaround time may be very quick for this commission type.

2D Art Prices Summary:

Additional notes:

• Because of my method of coloring, making color adjustments is very easy for me, so feel free to ask for any minor color adjustments if you need any.
• If there is a certain style not described here that you have seen me draw in before and you would like to commission me based on that, please let me know what artwork it was (if you could link it, that would be even better) and I’ll see what I can do for you. Prices may be more or less based on what style it was.
• The Portrait/Half body/Full body specifications are guidelines for pricing and you do not have to strictly order standing character art from me. You can ask for different dynamic poses and perspectives, and I’ll try my best to deliver.
• Prices may change depending on level of detail required. More detailed character designs will be charged extra.

Terms of Service

By commissioning me, you agree to the terms below.

Communications

Communications will be done over Email or Discord, depending on your preference. If using Discord, I will send a DM request from a Discord account specialized for communication about commissions so that we can communicate there. Please look out for the notification. If the customer fails to respond within reasonable time, I will send a response over the email address provided in the form. If the commission is rejected, the response may be done over Email without correspondence over Discord.

I will provide updates whenever there is significant progress on the commission. I will also provide weekly progress updates every Friday (EST) if the commission takes longer than a week, whether or not significant progress was made.

The customer is allowed to ask for updates at any time.

The customer is also expected to respond within reasonable time.

If there is a deadline to the commission, please communicate that with me so I can try to honor it. I can only honor deadlines within a reasonable timeframe.

When the final artwork is delivered, it is expected that the customer stores the product properly. Loss of the product is not the responsibility of the artist, as I cannot promise that I will have the original files in the future.

Revisions

If you are looking for high creative control over the final product or if you would rather that I take control of the creative decisions, please tell me and I can work with either situation.

During the sketch phase, the customer is allowed to make 3 major revisions at no extra cost. Any more than this will add extra charges before we can progress further. A major revision is something that would cause a large amount of redrawing, such as a full pose change or a full outfit change. (Refusing to pay these charges may cause a cancellation of the commission on my end.)

During the sketch phase, the customer is allowed to make any number of minor revisions. A minor revision is something that is easy to change, such as missing details or small adjustments.

It is expected that the customer is fully happy with the sketch before line art and rendering is completed. If you are not happy with the sketch, please let me know how I can fix it before moving on to line art. Don’t be afraid to ask!

No more major revisions can be done after the sketch has been approved. Minor revisions may still be accepted during the line art and coloring stages.

Payment

Payment will be completed in USD using PayPal.

The customer must pay in full upfront before the commission is started. Work will not be started until the payment is received.

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to bear any currency conversion costs, bank transfer fees, payment provider service fees and any other costs involved in transferring funds.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

I reserve the right to deny or cancel a commission for any reason. I will fully refund the commission if I have to cancel the commission on my end.

If a commission is cancelled by the customer, the customer will receive any work that was completed as well as a partial refund based on how much work was completed.

After the artwork has been fully completed, I will no longer offer refunds. If you are not fully happy with the work, please tell me what you would like for me to change, and I will change it for you!

Personal Use and Commercial Use

If you are going to use the artwork for Commercial Use, you must inform me. There will be separate agreements made in regards to Commercial Usage of the artwork.

I define commercial use as any usage that will directly generate revenue, such as advertisements, reselling, or usage in merchandise. This also includes album covers, monetized videos, or monetized streams. This could also mean key character art, depending on how this character will be used.

Commercial Usage of the artwork will be a +50% charge of the total commission price.

Personal usage is any usage that will not generate revenue, such as printing the artwork for personal display at home or using the artwork as a profile picture on social media.

Usage Rights

It is expected that you follow the Personal Use and Commercial Use rules.

I retain the copyrights to the artwork unless otherwise agreed upon.

IMPORTANT:

You may not use the artwork in anything related to blockchain, NFTs, or Cryptocurrency,

You may not use artwork in AI datasets, training, or tools. You may not alter the artwork using AI tools.

Failure to comply with these rules will get you blacklisted from future commissions with me.

I may post the commission to my social medias or add it to my portfolios. If you do not want me to do this, please let me know and I will honor your request. If you would like me to post the commission with or without tagging you, let me know too.

You are free to post your commissioned artwork to your social media accounts with credit.
